Work = force * displacement

( W = F.s )

The SI unit of work is joule ( J )

It can also be calculated as,

W = ma*1/2*at*at

Work = mass * acceleration * 1/2 (acceleration * acceleration) * (time * time)

work = force*displacement.............................(1)

force =mass *acceleration.............................................(2)

acceleration=change in velocity/time taken.............(3)

velocity=displacement/time...........................................(4)

now, SI unit velocity=length/time=L/T=

acceleration=  (L/T)/T = L/(T*T)

force = M*(L/(T*T))

work = M*(L/(T*T))*L=M*L^2*T^-2
