Let R be radius of base of the cone from which Frustum is cut. r is radius of smaller circle at top. Now using similar triangle theorem we get H/R= (H-h)/r.
which gives H= Rh/(R-r)
Now subtract volume of smaller cone from bigger cone to get the formula.
that is V=V1-V2= 1/3 h1xR^3-1/3hxr^3
which gives H= Rh/(R-r)
Now subtract volume of smaller cone from bigger cone to get the formula.
that is V=V1-V2= 1/3 h1xR^3-1/3hxr^3
