multiply by 2 on both sides
2s=2ut+ 2×1/2at^2
but u know that
t=v-u/a
substitute value of t in above equation
2s=2u(v-u)÷a+a{(v-u)/a}^2
2s=2uv-2u^2/a +v^2-u^2/a
2as=2uv-2u^2+v^2+u^2 -2uv
2as=v^2+u^2-2u^2
2as=v^2-u^2
