here ,
a = acceleration
v = final velocity
u = initial velocity
t = time taken
we have ,
acceleration = (final velocity - initial velocity)/ time taken
=> a = (v-u)/t
=> at = v-u [ by cross multiply ]
=>at+u = v
we get , => v = u +at
