P=w/t ( power= work/time)

= VI / T ( work done when current I operates at potential difference of V )

= IR×I / T ( V = IR :- by ohm's law )

= I^2R / T

energy,E = Power, P × time,T

E= I^2R / T × T = I^2R

therefore , heat energy produced = I^2R
