Describe a clinical thermometer. How does it differ from the thermometer used in laboratory?

Clinical thermometer had a u bend tube called kink which stops themercury's back flow into bulb, thus it is use to measure the temprature of HUMAN BODY. clinical thermometerThis thermometer is used in homes. Itis basically used to measure thetemperature of humans.

Both thermometers are used for measuring the temperature but the samples and range for them are different.

Clinical Thermometer:

This thermometer is used to measure the temperature of human body. The range of the clinical thermometer is from 35 degree Celsius to 42 degree Celsius.

Laboratory thermometer:

This thermometer is used to measure the temperature of different objects in the laboratory. The range of this thermometer is from -10 degree Celsius to 110 degree Celsius.
