Describe a clinical thermometer . Why doesn't a clinical thermometer contain marking above 42* C?

A Clinical Thermometer is used to measure Human body temperature and generally it doesn't rise up till 42 degree celcius and have not rose up in any human so the range of a Clinical Thermometer doesn't exceed 42 degree Celcius.
