Two experiments are used to demonstrate how light travels in straight lines. In the first example, the presenter arranges three pieces of card, with holes in, in an uneven line. The light stops and cannot travel through all three cards. When she arranges the holes in a straight line, the light can travel through.

Explanation:

Experiment - Light travelling on a straight line

Materials required - carboard, scissor, Torch light.

Procedure

Take a torch, place it's head in the middle of the cardboard and press it and cut that piece of the cardboard with the scissor, then place the cardboard at a dark room straight facing the torch (3 feet far away from it).

Observation

You can see partial light passing at the outer border of that cardboard but a very shiny ray passes from the hole accurately.

What did we learn?

light can travel straight for accuracy which is very bright.

Hope you understood well dear, mark my answer the brainliest if satisfied

Thank you!
