2. Rub them against each other .
3. Now bring some paper (small pieces) near the iron rod and glass rod one by one.
4. We observe that both attract the paper pieces.
5. Now bring both rods near each other .

We observe that bot rod starts to repel each other.

Thus we can conclude that total charge on a pair of objects that have been rubbed together is zero.
