Answer:

well-educated time traveller from 1914 enters a room divided in half by a curtain. A scientist tells him that his task is to ascertain the intelligence of whoever is on the other side of the curtain by asking whatever questions he pleases. The time traveler asks all kinds of questions about all different topics like religion, language, math, history and the person on the other side gets them all perfect. From this, the time traveler would declare this person on the other side of the curtain very intelligent, but that person was using their smart phone to get all of the answers. In these days, our memories are unreliable, so what do we do, we look to our smart phone for the answer. Need directions to a friends house? Pull out your smart phone. Need to see if there's food in your teeth? Pull out your smart phone. Need to see when the bus is coming? Pull out your smart phone. As we look at how important technology is in our every day life we have to ask one question: as technology gets better, will society get worse? Will we still use a pencil and paper to do simple math, or open up our textbooks to study for an exam? In 20 years will our children learn to ride a bike or learn how to use an iPad? Our society is addicted to technology and our various gadgets already, and as time goes on and bigger and better things are invented, we won't know how to function without them.
