The temples in the city of Bishnupur which is situated near the city of Kolkata are famous for the embellishment of Terracotta tiles. These temples are all dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha.

These temples are detected To be built from 17th to 18th century. This time period who was the ruling time of the Malla Kings. Malla dynasty was one of the strongest dynasties which ruled over Bengal. Their Reign was from 7th to 19th century.
