Describe a time when you had a conflict over money

Once upon a time when I have given some money to my friend for just keeping it safe until I return from another state.

When I returned from my journey, he had spent half of my money and was refusing to pay me my whole money, and was also lying about the fact that I have given him that much money.

So from that time I trust only myself with my money.
