Every Friday is a market day in my hometown Chiana. On a typical market day, people get up at early dawn – earlier than on normal days – and prepare to go to the market. Especially women who sell in the market get up extra early. People come from different places to the market with cars, motorbikes, motorkings, bicycles. Especially women also walk from far places. They walk long distances with commodities such as tomato, pepper, onion, garden-eggs and green leafs to the market. People who manufacture goods bring them from far and nearby towns and villages.
