Tissues that connects , support or seperate other tissue or organ is called Connective tissue.
cells of connective tissue include fibroblasts, adipocytes, macrophages, mast cells and leucocytes.

The term "connective tissue" (in German, Bindegewebe) was introduced in 1830 by Johannes Peter Müller. The tissue was already recognized as a distinct class in the 18th century.

Connective tissues are tissues that help to connect various parts in our body. the cells in this tissue are loosely spaced in intercellular matrix. matrix can have different mediums like jelly, fluid, rigid etc.

There are 7 types of connective tissues

Blood

Matrix- Plasma ( contains protiens salts and hormones)

Suspended cells- RBCs WBCs and platelets

Bone-

Matrix-Rigid ( contains calcium and phosphorus)

It anchors muscles and helps in movement

Ligament-

Connects two bones

Have little matrix which is elastic and has considerable strength

Tendons-

Connects muscles to bones

Fibrous

Limited flexiblity

Highly rigid

Cartilage-

Smooth bones

Present in nose and ears where bending id possible

Areolar-

Found between skin and muscles and around blood vessels, nerves and bone marrow

Adipose-

Prestent under the skin

stores fat

Note that all the tissues help in connecting two parts of the human anatony.
