Hey friend,

62 year old grandmother named Krishtakka lived in an era where educating girls was not considered important.she never went to school and remained illiterate. She was married at very tender age and had children. She was dedicated home maker and devoted all her youth to her family. She was associated with the protagonist of the story kashi yatre and wanted to learn kannada alphabet.


Her granddaughter was a educated girl.. When she went to a near by village for a function..grandmother became to sad that she was not able to read the story..

Her grandaughter taught her to read and write.
