Answers
➡️Abt IITs
IIT is the short form of Indian Institute of Technology.
There are 23 IITs in India.
The top most most IIT is IIT Bombay followed by IIT-Madras, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Kharagpur, IIT- Kanpur, etc.
IITs are the most premium and best engineering institute in India.
But still remember that getting a seat in IIT won't fully guarantee you a 6 digit salary!
If u get into IITs, u've to strictly follow the curriculum and should be able to manage to get a CGPA of 7.5 or above...Or u can simply sit in ur home or they'll expel u out XD.
NB: In each year, IITs expel almost 600-800 students of the total intake of 10000 seats each year for solely engineering!
So getting a seat in reputed IIT is a tough job.
But studying in IIT is the toughest!
Plus points of IITs:
~ International level of quality teaching and teachers.
~Perfect Atmosphere for students
~Internationally reputed
~Sure placement
~If u top studies and top interviews, and is a pool of knowledge and brain, then u may be the one bagging the highest salary package of almost 1Cr/Year.
~All amenities to ace ur studies
Negative Points:
~Academic Pressure
~Even u should have minimum attendance to attend for exams
~Bcz of pressure, suicides are not a very rare event.
➡️IIT cut-off for this year.
Nearly 9 lakh students each appeared for JEE Mains (Jan session and April Session)
From that top 2.5lakhs(1.25 lakhs reservation for OBC, SC, ST, etc) will be shortlisted for JEE Advanced conducting on 27th May 2019.
From that students who get in top 10000 ranks can apply for various programs in the 23 IITs.
But we should manage to get in top 6000 if we want our desired course.
And should be in top 1000 for the best IITs.
For eg, if u want to get into IIT-Bombay (Computer Science), then getting a rank under 100 is more safer.
So..this is the toughness for getting a seat in IIT!
➡️MIT/IIT?
Definitely MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)
According to QS World Ranking System(earlier Times World Ranking),
MIT is the number one engineering institute in the world!
IIT Bombay comes somewhere near 150-200.
But getting a seat in MIT is the toughest of the toughest, but still possible.
U need to score almost nearer to full marks in SAT exam (Scholastic Ability Test). U should also have a perfect CV.
and many many more.....
In simple words, they'll not only test ur academics, but also personal qualities..
U've to outshine everyone.....
➡️Jobs offered after graduating from IITs.
If u graduate from top IITs in top branches(like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering), u'll definitely get a very high paid salary nearing to almost a crore per annum.
Definitely , if u graduate from IITs, the most probability is to get a job in overseas.
➡️ Question Paper Level
~JEE Main
From this year onwards, NTA (National Testing Agency) is conducting JEE Mains. And too , exams are conducted twice a year(in Jan and April).
The difficulty level of Question was same as that of the previous years.
Exams are fully online
~JEE Advanced
The exam body has announced that the difficulty level will probably remain same and too the question pattern as that of the previous years.
Exams are fully online.
➡️ Different Branches.
Hmm...
So... definitely Computer Science is the most sought branch.
U've to be in top 100 to get in IIT-Bomaby Computer Science..
Whereas if u get nearer to 6000, u can apply for Computer Science in IIT-Gandinagar(Gujarat).
The later demand is for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
It varies very much depending on which IIT u choose.
So...if u've any doubt, u can ask me by commenting...
Hope it helped u ☺️✌️
The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are autonomous public institutes of higher education, located in India. They are governed by the Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 which has declared them as institutions of national importance and lays down their powers, duties, and framework for governance.
Two types of JEE Advanced cutoff 2019 will be released - qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff of JEE Advanced 2019 has to be met to qualify the examination whereas the admission cutoff has to be satisfied to have higher chances of admission into the preferred course and institute. JEE Advanced 2019 will be made available in online mode. All candidates should attempt JEE Advanced.
MIT is better than IIT.
