There are three laws of Newton of motion.
1. Law of inertia :An object would remain at rest or in motion until or unless an external force is applied to it.This law is known as law of inertia.
2.Rate of change of momentum: The rate of change of momentum of an object is proportional to the applied unbalanced force in the direction of force. This law gives us the formula of force.F= m×a
3.Law of action and reaction: Each and every action has equal and opposite reaction.

Newton gave 3 laws of motion. 1st law of motion state that A body at rest or uniform motion will continue to be at rest or uniform motion until and unless a net external force act on it.
Newton'S 2nd law of motion :the net force experienced by a body is directly proportional to the rate of change of momentum of the body.
3rd law :for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
