Roman empire is the vast empire spread over large parts of Europe and middle East . in BC:s the empire prospered in wealth and power under leaders like Octavian and reached the hieghts under dictators like Julius Ceaser. the empire started to decline in 11th and 12th centuaries as succession crises was at peak. later due to improper ruler the Roman empire spread was divided into eastern Roman empire (Byzantine empire) and Roman empire in West (Europe)
