(i) Inscription are writing engraved on hard surfaces like metal,rock etc. The study of Inscription is known as Epigraphy.
(ii) Coins are pieces of metal that are used as money. The study of coins is called as numismatic.
(iii) Paintings tell us nature of society , the way of dressings , the customed followed , important event etc.
(iv) Literacy evidence consists of historical writings, biographies, plays, novels and epics.
