Aerobic respiration is the process that leads to complete oxidation of organic substances in the presence of oxygen, & release carbon-dioxide, water & a large amount of energy present in the substrate.
It is performed in mitochondria & cytoplasm.
Anaerobic respiration is the process that leads to an incomplete oxidation of organic substances in the absence of oxygen, less amount of energy is formed.
It is performed in cytoplasm.
Hope this will help!!
