Yes he was a skilled hunter as Ali was a clever shikari He was a very able hunter and a coachman Even a small animal could not escape his sharp eyes He was so obessed with hunting

Ali is a skilled hunter . It was so tough for him to spend a day without hunting. when ali sighted the earth-brown partridge almost invisible for others eyes , he hunted it . Even when the dogs failed to notice the creature cunningly hidden in the yellow brown scrub , Ali's eyes would catch the sight of his ears , and in the next moment it was dead .
