As France society was a feudal society it was divided into 3 Estate:
* 1 Estate (Clergy).
*2 Estate ( Nobility).
*3 Estate ( common people).

1 Estate was consists of people who were belong from Church like priest.
2 Estate was consists of royal family.
3 Estate was consists of common people like Artisans , peasants , Labour, Business man etc.

First and Second Estate enjoys born privileges. They take taxes from third Estate.
There were three types of taxes
1. Tithes
2. Tailles.
3. Indirect taxes.
