first estate :-clergy,noble.

second estate:-big business men, artisans,lawers,moneylenders.

third estate:-pesants ,small farmers,labours,business men.

*in french society 1,2 estate were treated as superior but 3rd estate were treated as inferior.

*right to vote were given to 1&2 estate but it was not with the 3rd estate.

*all the citizens of 1&2 estate were treated as non taxpayers

*all the people of 3rd estate were treated as taxpayers.
