Answer:
Aim:to find out the relative strength of intermolecular attractive forces in the states of matter
required:
- water
- ice
- boiling water so that you can observe water vapours on the top of the container .
method:
- observe all the three States of matter carefully
- take liquid that is water and pour it into containers of different shapes
- do the same thing with solids and with the gas .
- record ur observations in every case.
Observation:
you would observe that only water and gas could take shape of the container but the solid ice couldn't because of the intermolecular forces .
Conclusion:
the solid state of matter is having the most intermolecular force where as the gas would have been the lowest molecular forces between its molecule .
