take forceps n needle...peel off a thin peel frm onion bulb and place it on a slide...put a drop of glycerin on it and also put a drop of Orange safranine solution on it...cover it carefully with the help of needle with coverslip to avoid any air bubbles...then observe it under microscope of appropriate power.
