take a candle and burn it, then put the scandal into an airtight container, after sometime the candle will not burn due to absence of oxygen or air in container.

EXPERIMENT:--

Take a burning Candlestick then pit it inside a container ensuring that it is fully covered in order to restrict the flow of Air inside the container.
After some time you'll observe that the Candlestick you have burn is extinguished.

That shows that presence of OXYGEN IS NECESSARY FOR COMBUSTION.
