Take two beakers, one containing cold water and another containing hot water. Now let the beaker with hot water called as beaker A and another as B. Now lets start the activity. Put red ink in each of the beakers. Observe both the beakers carefully. Observation- It will be observed that in beaker A the ink spreads throughout the water faster than in the case of beaker B.Conclusion- Therefore this activity shows that diffusion becomes faster with increase in temperature but is slow when there is decrease in temperature.
