Let us consider three bulbs (B1,B2 & B3) connected in parallel to a battery with different Resistance of (R1,R2 & R3).

As the connection divides at the junction, current (i) produced due to the potential difference (v) will also get divided Into i1,i2 & i3. When the current gets divided from the point A into i1 i2 and i3 e it again needs at a junction Point B. As we know that current is a form of energy.

By the law of conservation of energy,

Energy can be neither created nor destroyed. It must be totally conserved.

Hence, i net = i1 + i2 + i3.

Note that it can be also proved by using resistance in parallel formula.

R = V/I From ohm's Law.

=> I/R = V/I

As 1/R = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + ..... 1/R n

=> i net /v = i1 /v + i2/v + i3/v [ Potential difference remains same for this case ]

=> i Net = i1 + i2 + i3
