steps to separate dye from water :
film of a beaker with water and put a watch Glass on the mouth of the beaker .
put few drops of ink on the watch glass and then start heating the beaker .we do not need to heat the directly, we can watch the evaporation taking place. continue heating as the evaporation goes on stop heating when you do not see any for the change in the water glass.
After performing this experiment we can observe that water gets evaporated and dye present in the ink remains in the watch glass from this we can say that dye is a mixture of dye in water
