add salt/sugar  to water in china dish and heat till water gets evaporated and you will find the crystals of salt/sugar

Water of crystallisation is the fixed number of water molecules present in one formula unit of salt.

✔️ Five water molecules as water crystallisation is present in one formula unit of copper sulphate.
✔️ Gypsum has two water molecules as water of crystallisation.

✨ACTIVITY :-
Heat a few crystals of copper sulphate in a dry boiling tube. Copper sulphate crystals which seems to be dry contain water of crystallisation. When we heat the crystal, this water is removed and salt turns white. Then. add 2-3 drops of water on the copper sulphate obtained after heating. If we moisten the crystal again with water, we will find that the blue colour of the crystals reappears.
