Hello.

Activity to show evidence for attraction between particles is shown below:

1. Take a Nail Piece and a piece of cotton.

2. Try to break them.

Observations ⇒ When you will try to break them, you will come to know that nail which is made up of the Iron is very hard to break. Thus, we can say that the particles of the matter(which occupies space) have inter molecular forces acting between successive atoms .

This Proves the aim of the Activity.

Hope it helps.

Hi,
Yes there is an attraction between two different particles as well as attraction between different particles of same substance.

Activity 1:
〰️〰️〰️〰️
Attraction between two different particles
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
1) Take a scale and few bits of paper.

2) Rub the scale on the dry hairs then slowly
take that scale near to bits of paper(don't touch scale and paper),all the bits of paper cling to the scale, this is electrostatic cling or force of attraction.

Activity 2:
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
Attraction between particles of a substance
〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️
1) Take a large ice cube ( solid) and take a glass of water.
2) Now try to divide both solid and liquid into two equal parts,by breaking the ice cube and by pouring the water into another glass, which one is easy.
3) As by doing so,you will find that pouring liquid into another glass(to divide half) is easy,as liquid have less intermolecular forces.secondly, breaking ice into two parts is tough,as Ice is solid and solids are having strong intermolecular force of attraction.

hope it helps you.
