Describe an activity with a (a) metre scale (b) rubber band to show that only a vibrating body produces sound.

a) - when we place a metre scale on a table, after that no sound is produced. but when we hit it continuously over an object, sound is produced due to the vibrations created.

WE CAN DO THE SAME EXPT. WITH RUBBER BANDS BY PLACING IT ON THE TABLE, AND THEN PLUCKING IT
