I was watching my wife and son gathering shells at the beach. As I sometimes do, I imagined what life would be like for them if I were to die unexpectedly. I hoped and briefly prayed that they would enjoy such moments as the one I now perceived. As I looked to pick up a shell myself, I saw - just as I was taking my step - there was a pretty pipi right under my heel.
