Take a metallic ball and ring. The diameters of the ring and the ball are such that ball is just able to pass through the ring at the room temperature. Now heat the ball and try to pass the ball through the ring. This clearly shows that on heating the diameter of the ball has increased i.e., the solid has expanded.

Answer:
Take an iron ball and first put it in a ring
U will see it will get inside the ring
But when u heat the iron ball in particular time.
The ball will expand and then u take tha ball and then u will able to see that the ball doesn't get inside and its stuck on there because we have expanded the ball from the before the ball what we have .
