To establish a relation btn V, I and R means to verify ohm's law.
This we can do by an experiment...
For this we require an ammeter,
a voltmeter, a cell, a resistor and a rheostat.
Now when we pass current through the circuit and record V/I ratio each time then we will find that the value will be const. And we can get the value of R.
It will also show that I is d. Proportional to V
