So here is a simple and easy experiment

So take to magnets now bring both the NORTH poles that are the like poles

now you see that they are not attracting each other. Hence proved that like poles repel

Now bring the south pole of one magnet and the north pole of the other. Now you see that they attract each other. Hence proved that unlike poles attract.
