1. Take a clean beaker (250 ml) and put the powdered impure sample of copper sulphate in it.
2. Add distilled water and stir the contents gently with the help of a glass rod.
3. In order to make the solution more clear add two or three drops of concentrated sulphuric acid in it.

Copper sulphate crystal is prepared by crystallization method as follows:
Take a cupful of water in a breaker and a few drops of dil.H2SO4
.Heat & water.
When it starts boiling, add CuSO 4
powder slowly continue to add CuSO 4
powder till no more powder can be dissolved.
During this process, Continuously stir the solution. Filter the solution.
Leave it for cooling look it after some time, you can see the crystals of copper sulphate.
