  • Put it in a beaker.
  • Now add a considerable amount of water in the beaker.
  • Heat the compound for a while.

Observation:

You will observe air bubbles coming out of the compound.

conclusion:

Air is present in soil also.

Answer:

Take a glass tumbler and add some soil in it. Then pour some water on the soil slowly and stir for a while. The air bubbles start coming out of the soil. This proves that soil holds air in it.
