Aim: To prove that water is transparent.
Apparatus required: Beaker, water, a coin.
Experiment: Take a beaker which is half filled with the water. Place a coin in the beaker. Take the beaker in the light and keep it undisturbed for some moments.
Observation: The coin can be seen clearly. No matter how big the beaker is taken when in light the coin can be seen with clarity.
Hence proved that the water is transparent.
Precautions: Make sure that the water is clean.
