Tea filled in a cup of tea is the best example to explain that heat flows from a hotter object to a cooler one.

When you touch an empty tea cup it is moderaeely cool but as you put hot tea in the cup the cup becomes extremely hot.

Now if you even remove the tea from the cup it still remains hot for some time.

Thus the above phenomena clearly shows that heat flows from a hotter object to a cooler one

Hope it will help you.
