"Like repels like

Like attracts unlike"

This is the principal of magnet

By hammering

A bar magnet with two poles

Breaks into two

different magnets

Ends of one magnet

when brought closer

To the either end

Of other magnet repels

This means that two poles are formed

When the magnet broke into either pieces

So we conclude that poles always exist in pairs

when the match the same poles of a magnet it should be repelled or we match The Other poles then it will be contract to each other this shows that the magnet always exist in same poles of pairs
