■ TO SHOW THAT SOUND TRAVEL THROUGH SOLIDS....■

● Place one of your ears on a table and close the other ear with your hand.
●Ask your friend to gently tap on the table.
-----Are you able to listen to the sound?

You will find that sound can travel through metal or wood...

➧To Show that Sound can travel through Soilds:-▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬⤵

①❭ Place a wrist watch at one end of a wooden table.

②❭ Stand at the other end of the table.

③❭ Try to hear the ticking of the watch.

④❭ Place your ear on the table & listen.

➧ You will observe that the ticking of the watch sound louder when heard through wood.

[1] Sound can travel through solids .

[2] Sound travel through a solid medium better than through a gaseous medium.
