Sunlight is the ultimate source of energy.Sunlight is very useful during photosynthesis as the energy in the sunlight is used by the plant . Therefore plants use sunlight , water and minerals present in the soil and the carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere to form glucose and oxygen .The glucose is used by them and oxygen is released by them for us.
