materials required- 2 beaker, pure water, tap water
apparatus required- any voltage current (avoid 220v) and galvanometer (to measure current deflection)
procedure- put pure water in a beaker, and tap water in onother... put both negative (-) and positive (+) terminal of galvanometer in both of them one by one, passing current to water...
conclusion- galvanometer deflects in tap water not in pure water, as tap water contains many minerals making it a partial conducter of electricity....
but pure water or (h2o),itself is a bad conductor of electricity,
hope u like it
