Describe an experiment to so that sun is needed for photosynthesis

Take a leaf

Put it in a room having no sunlight to destarch it

Cover it with a strip of aluminum paper

Again placed it in sunlight

Then remove it's aluminum foil and immerse the leaf in boiling water for a few minutes.This will break down the cell membrane of leaf cell and make the leaf more permeable to iodine solution

Put this leaf in alcohol,to destarch it

Remove colorless leaf from alochol and wash throughouly with hot water

Put iodine solution,we see that middle part does not colourise and rest of the leaf change into blue-black color
