Answer:

it can be understood by the following experiment.

Explanation:

take a polished regular mirror.

take a torch and on it.

place it in front of the mirror.

you experiences that the angle of reflection and angle of incidence would equal in the =and opposite directions.

to investigate:- laws of reflection

1. first law is angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection

2. the ray of incidence, normal and ray of reflection lies on the same plane.

Things required :- one plane mirror and a torch or lazer beam torch will be better

EXPERIMENT OF FIRST LAW

Procedure

put the plane mirror on a flat surface

take the lazer beam torch

and point it towards the mirror

switch it on

now you see in the opposite direction of the mirror

you can see the the reflected image of the beam on the opposite wall of the mirror

as you will change the angle of reflection I.e as you will change the angle of the torch you will observe that the reflected image will also change its position

this proves that tha angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection

EXPERIMENT OF SECOND LAW

as per the first experiment we get to know that the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of reflection

so it's clear that both angles lies on the same plane

Since the angles lie ons the same plane

therefore the rays also lies on the same plane.

hope it helps
