Once I had to go for a job interview. I had to go to a different city and chose to travel by bus to avoid self-driving. Now on the way to destination city, our bus broke down, its gear system started malfunctioning. I had a scheduled time and this breakdown caused me delay because then another bus was called on emergency and that took time.

I managed this delay by calling the interviewer, told him my situation and requested him to shift my interview on the end. Hence I managed to appear at the interview though late
