●Inert gases belong to 18th group.
●They are also known as noble gases, least reactive gases.
●They are known as liable gases because they have completely filled electrons in their outermost she'll. ie) 8 electrons in their outermost she'll.
●They are discovered lately because the concentration of the gases are less in the atmosphere.
●Example of inert gases are helium, argon, neon, etc.

Inert gases are also known as noble gases.According to modern periodic table there are eight inert gases.They are helium neon krypton xenon radon argon oseggenon.These gases do not react with any element because they have eight electron in valence shell except helium it contains 2 electron in valence shell
