Answer:

Today is the deadline of the garden experiment and I have taight her many hand gestures and there are many imporvements that Helen has achieved. However, I'm afriad she hasn't fully comprehended these concepts in her mind, but that they are just finger-games she uses to get something she wants. If that is the case, no true improvement has been made and I deperately need just one more week to fill that gap.

I begged the Kellers to only give me one more week with Helen, so that I can help fully teach her how to communicate; but they only saw the improvements and not the gaps. They didn't even notice the needed attention. The official deadline was 6 o clock. That time came and Helen was officially claimed by her mother. This made me feel hopeless by the fact that Helen's own parents weren't even supporting the best interests of their daughter. If only there was some way I could enlighten them, to make them fully understand my reasoning.

Anne says that people would wonder why would a 13 year old teenager want to write down in a diary when he has her family and many friends to talk to . but in reality she says that although she does talk to everyone and consider them her friend , she doesn't have a close friend whom she can tell everything to .
