The five factors responsible for the climatic condition are
1) Latitude : Due to the curvature of earth different areas receive different amount of Sunlight.
2) Altitude : As one goes higher air becomes thinner. Thus the capacity of air to hold heat decreases and hence temperature also decreases
3) Distance from sea : As the distance from the Sea increases the moderating effect of land breeze and sea breeze also decreases
4) Ocean currents: Ocean currents affect the rainfall of the adjoining areas if an area is adjoined to warm currents. The warm current brings rain.
5) Relief: The mountains and high elevated areas stop the cloud from going to the area on the other side of the mountain or high elevated area. The area where rainfall doesn't does not occurs due to relief feature is known as rain Shadow area
